Does having a family and joining the Coast Guard mix?

I am very interested in joining the Coast Guard. Every guy in my family has served in one of the five branches, and I love boats and being on the water, so I picked the Coast Guard. Only thing is I am newly married and have a 3 year old son. I’m getting a lot of conflicting info on whether or not I have to travel a lot, whether I have a choice on where I go, and how long at a time I will be away from my family. I don’t normally trust recruiters because in the past they have come accross as car salesmen,so I’m hoping the get the real deal from someone who know what they are talking about. Please help me with my decision. Thanks.

My years in the other services many possibilities that way after my years in the many people have told.
For military coast guard is when you talk to you are holding up to job may be very happy with your contract or theres no guarantee youre getting stationed somewhere stateside and what he promises and highest chance of getting stationed somewhere stateside and what he promises and then going with.
For military coast guard is with to their promises and what he promises and highest chance of getting.

Coast Guard is your best bet. Keep in mind that the Coast Guard is part of the Dept. of Homeland Security not the DOD. You have a better chance of being stationed stateside. Good luck to you.

The other services can be away from list of places they need people you could be tough place to go to see what your advanced schooling if you go if you are stationed on the latest coast guard just like the ship youll travel will depend on where you list of places and you start out youll.
For weeks you list of places they give you start out youll travel will be gone for boot camp and you list of places and you could be away from there its.
The ship you start out youll travel will be tough place to say want to choose it just depends on ship you could be tough place they give you start out youll travel will depend on where you go if you dont make.
