2000$. They both are presently lying to my face. I am really hurt. My roommate was one day pissed I was late on rent then the next day she’s like *don’t worry about it* you can babysit my kid I know it’s not money in your pocket but…* why can’t they just tell me the truth??

People are insecure, afraid, and think it will all be okay as long as nobody finds out… I **** people like that, and I always get them on it. It usually leads to fights and big problems, but It’s always a good thing to call those kind of people out. It’s so childish what these people do, but they might never learn if no one calls them out about it. Since they are children, well how do children learn? Typically a punishment / scolding. So do that to them.
