I don’t know why your family is so hesitant to see you stretch your wings a little bit and maybe find some romantic love.
You might think about sitting them down, parents together, then siblings and let them know that you promise that you “will be careful and cautious”. That you won’t “let any boy hurt me or take advantage of me”.
Their concern might be a litlte overly dramatic, but letthem hear it from you what you won;t let happen.
