Well, I’m the good girl who gets outstanding grades and my parents don’t trust me with boys. I mean I’ve never had a boyfriend and I’m not desperate for one and I know what my priorities are and what I want to do in life. I know what the bad decisions are and who are the good people I should follow. My parents don’t like the fact that I have guy friends like they expect me to hang out with girls for the rest of my life, I have some really good guy friends. Today I was hanging out with my 2 best friends who are girls and we’re sitting on some random stoop talking about guys we like. Then from a distance I see my grandmother and she’s coming my way. When she gets to us 4 random boys appear out of nowhere at the worst timing possible and I’m about to cry. She’s like screaming and the guys are laughing and my friends look embarrassed. I call my mom and drag my grandma around the corner and my friends tell me that one of the guys tried to make the situation better and was saying, “Oh it’s cool, it happens to me all the time except my mom pops out with her slipper chasing me,” And then they started talking about my other good friend’s ****. She’s so embarrassing and this really cute one who’s my age was there! Then they leave and my mom drives up and takes me home. I was so embarrassed I started crying! I **** this, they don’t trust me. Like what do they expect I’m going to do? They should know I’m smarter than that!
Gosh, any advice, or tell me some grandparents stories to make me feel better, please? The one that makes me most smile gets 10 points on the spot.

For the boys im sorry to pass it too honey its the line.
Let them know that you are just hanging out.
Like you do with your girl friends. And make them believe your not doing anything wrong.

Well, grandma definately needs to back off. Too many grandparents want to try to take over as parents. I mean, hello, they don’t call it retirement for nothing.
