I am hopefully an exchange program in Australia, and I guess I am probably being paranoid, but I keep on thinking about my host parents killing me or like beating me or other terrible stuff. I know the families probably have to go through a huge screening process in order to be eligible to volunteer, but like, can anybody boost my confidence? Like tell me what the exchange program goes through in order to find a host family? I’m probably using the program ASSE for Australia, by the way.
