family trust
James asked:

My girlfriend is Jewish and I’m not. She’s 18 and I’m six years older. Her family are Orthodox Jews and they really seem to downright **** me and act like they don’t want to even give me a chance. They think that I’m going to do something bad to their daughter and take her away from her religion and culture, which I have no intention of doing. I’m interested in it and would even convert to Judaism if I could, but they don’t believe I’m sincere. Even when I told them I loved her more than anything and wanted to convert they said that I’m just using her and that I couldn’t possibly be allowed to convert. What could I possibly do to get them to like me or at least trust me? My girlfriend loves her family and her heritage so she has no intention of just cutting them off but she also loves me very much and wants us to all get along. Is there anything I can do?

your baby?

I find myself trusting my side more. I don’t like it when my hubby’s side babysit my daughter. I don’t feel comfortable, I am more worried. Sometimes I know it seems unfair, but have you MOMS felt the same way?
