Okay first of all my name is Nessie and I’m 16-years-old. Last summer I got into a car accident and since then my parents don’t trust me. I had gone to a party with some friends and on our way home we got hit by a drunk driver… the problem is I had snuck out in order to go to that party. I was 15 then, but I didn’t assume that such an incident would be affecting me right now. I ended up with a broken arm and concussion and I understand why my parents worry but I think their being to strict and when I try talking to them they don’t listen.
I am blamed for everything, and I have no trust. This past weekend i went to a party and my parents found out their were drugs there and grounded me even though I didn’t do anything. They blamed me without and explanation. Another example is that I came in ten minutes past curfew because of traffic and they grounded me for 2 weeks! They took my phone! Im just frustrated… my grades are fine… schools fine…. but they aren’t.
