Usually people say you can trust your Family more because its blood, and they love u no matter what. While others believe that a Friend is more of a gift because they stand by you even when they dont have to. What do you think? Family or Friends?

My wife and I are trying to set up a trust and will to make sure our kids are all set. We have about $25 million in net worth (house, cash, assets etc) and are trying to customize the will such that its protected from outsiders taking it other than our kids. We have hired a lawyer to help us but he is charging $75,000 to do the whole thing exactly how we want it. Is that high? how much should it cost?

If the couple is divorcing, will that situation change the irrevocable family income trust null and void?

I signed two life insurances to be included as part of the irrevocable family income trust of the estate plan in 1999 and now we are in the process of divorcing. We are now going to divide the assets, can I claim back the two life insurances as I own again since the relationship between husband and wife is broken?
